Merle, 84, worked hard throughout her life, finally retiring at the age of 74. Merle has several medical issues that limit her mobility and she is not able to leave her home often. Although most of her immediate family is deceased, Merle keeps in touch with her nieces and nephews, but can't afford to call them on her limited income. She wished for a computer so that she could keep in touch with them more easily. Merle's wish was granted on March 14, 2012.
