The Dying & The Dead

The Dying And The Dead — story by Jonathan Hickman, art by Ryan Bodenheim // Image Comics

It's only fitting that the FIRST and MOST COMMONLY RE-READ title I place on this PinBoard is MATT HAWKINS' & RAHSAN EKEDAL's THINK TANK, a brilliantly conceived story about young slacker genius, DR. DAVID LOREN, who is shunted into advanced military technology development at DARPA at a very young age. With elements of IRON MAN, BIG BANG THEORY, and STRIKE BACK rolled into 32 pages, it's amazing how many high-concept issues and interactions they fit into the comic every month. Outstanding! :D
