On the subject of ironing who remembers this contraption. Used to sprinkle clothes prior to ironing. Clothes line dried. I remember this so well. Had to use it to iron my dad's shirts every week plus we ironed bed sheets back then too.

Silly Putty - fun with the Sunday comics! This stuff was great! Bet you don't understand the "Sunday comics bit. " Yup, Silly Putty could be pressed onto the comics and the ink would temporarily adhere to the putty.
Chinese Checkers in a Tin with Regular Checkers on the other side and marbles and red/black checkers inside. I loved playing Chinese Checkers! Getting the tin open could prove to be an adventure at times.But well worth it.
