American Museum of Natural History - definitely one of my family's all-time favorite places to visit in NYC.  You need several days to see it all!

The American Museum of Natural History: an impressive dinosaur skeletons, a life-size model of a blue whale hanging from the ceiling, the annual Butterfly Conservatory exhibit… Kids LOVE this museum.
