Homemade liquid laundry or powder Powdered Laundry Soap: 2 cups finely grated soap (Ivory, Fels Naptha, Zote, homemade, or a combination) 1 cup borax 1 cup washing soda Mix and store in a coffee can or what have you. Use T per load.

This is same ingredients as one I use but different quantities. Btw- I will NEVER buy my laundry soap again this stuff is amazing!

My version is a bit different:  1 box Borax, 3 bars Dr. Bonner's scented bar soap grated, 1 box baking soda, 1 box washing soda (i used Charlie's)
