Two of my favorites from my monthly wine delivery. Syrah from Italy and Muscadet from France. Both delicious and sooo smooth! Love getting a surprise every month and trying new wines that I would not have otherwise! To learn how I do this check out my site!

The Fié Gris is not sauvignon blanc – it is the rare sauvignon gris – but so outstanding was this bottle that I had to include it. Grown near the coast, around Nantes, this has some of the piercing, saline freshness of muscadet but with added texture and floral nuances. Superlative wine, made for shellfish.
