A little planning ahead, today we installed irrigation pipes for watering plants in the courtyard. These were done with mains pressure polly pipe  because they are going to be buried under the paving and we don't want any leaks. We also pressure tested them just to make sure everything was ok

Earthenware sewage pipes full of tree roots, you can see the three courtyard surfaces the first surface was iron stone gravel. This had Colax, a coal based bitumen on top then concrete on top of that.
