More rarely clear to white crystals, red under long-wave UV.  benitoite for its occ. near the of the San Benito River in San Benito Cty, CA gemstone quality  has only been found in CA.  Official state gem  Benitiote has a rare 5 pointed crystal form, and rarer 6 pointed form, "star of David", about 24 samples known.
