HMS Glory, a Colossus class Aircraft Carrier, built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast & commissioned 02/04/45. Carrying 837 NAS(Barracudas) & 1831 NAS(Corsairs) she arrived in Far East to join 11th Aircraft Carrier Squadron just as the war was ending. Placed in reserve in '49 she was returned to service in December '50 and served three deployments  off Korea. Decommissioned in '56, she was sold for scrap to Thomas W.Ward of Inverkeithing in '61
