LOVED this book, which I read very quickly as an e-book. A cute, touching coming of age / love story told in alternating perspectives.

In alternating chapters, two teenagers describe how their feelings about themselves, each other, and their families have changed over the years.

Between Shades of Gray [Paperback] [Apr 07, 2011] Ruta Sepetys]

The 2012 Carnegie Medal shortlist: outstanding books for children and teens. On my "to read" list. Hilarious that so many middle school kids think it's the same as 50 shades of Gray.

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven- I read this for a book published this year. While I thought the writing itself was great and the book left me thinking, I was also disappointed in it. It was touted for lovers of Eleanor & Park and TFIOS (which I loved) and I really think there should be no comparison. It has a difficult subject matter, and one I feel should be addressed, but it also is very depressing and I worry about teens who do suffer from mental illness reading it.
