This smaller sized hanging oil lamp was often referred to as a kitchen lamp. Although less ornate than some of the bigger parlour hanging lamps, it is still very elegant and appealing. The hand painted slant sided shade is complimented nicely by the inset jewels and the ornately patterned frame.

This is one of the largest antique parlour or “Gone with the Wind” oil lamps we have come across. The globe shade is 12″ in diameter and the height of the kerosene lamp to the top of the chimney is approximately 30″. The beautiful hand painted globe shade and vase are completely matching and original to each other.

Antique Lamps, Gone With The Wind, Hand Painted

This is a large antique “Gone with the Wind” parlour oil lamp circa mid 1890s. It is decorated with hand painted daffodils and has matching large motifs on the front and smaller ones on the back. The large areas of white background give the kerosene lamp a more subdued look than many of a similar size.
