I like the subtle patterns in this Australian Aboriginal artwork by Yukultji Napangati - paintings from kaltjiti artists available at Gallery Gabrielle Pizzi - Exhibiting Contemporary Australian Aboriginal Art Melbourne
Fluid flowing lines on this painting titled Bush Tucker Seeds by Sandy Hunter Pitjara. It's incredible to see the individual dots that are painted on.

Sarrita King - Waterhole, 2011 - Acrylic on linen - 160 x 100 cm. Sarrita paints the naturally occurring waterholes she remembers travelling to around Alice Springs & Katherine. The scarcity of drinking water in certain regions means specific knowledge of where these waterholes are located, as well as their preservation methods, is paramount to survival. Today, Aborigines speak of where waterholes once were as many of them have dried up due to drought or diminished maintenance.
