Kids could crumple then flatten paper to create the volcano.  They can tear or cut paper for the lava.  (We have switch adapted scissors!) They could blow the paper with the hairdryer connected to the Powerlink.

IMG_0083 I really like this idea of presenting the lava in paint spatters. I think the abstractness allows focus on the vibrant colours of the paint.
