Moroccan Rice Pilaf. This is delicious!! 1 teaspoon butter, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 cup white basmati rice, 1 1/2 cups water or vegetable stock, black pepper to taste, 1/4 cup sliced almonds, 1/4 cup raisins. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook onions for 3-4 min in butter until translucent. Add spices and rice and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add stock and raisins. Boil, then cook in the oven for 18 minutes. Fold in salt, pepper and almonds.
