Hike the La Luz Trail. Trail 137 begins at the base of the Sandia Mountains and stretches to either Sandia Peak or the Tram. The hike is strenuous, but the views are worth it.

White Sands, New Mexico. This place is absolutely serene! Sand is white as snow and was cold when you  walked on it.  We were visiting John and Donna in Alamagordo, N.M. Like nothing I've ever seen before! ME TOO! LT

New Mexico's White Sands National Monument. The glare off the white sand is amazing, but hard on the eyes. We took a short walk with snow goggles and did fine. Awesome place to visit.
