Rebecca is one of my all-time favorite books by Daphne Du Maurier.  Hitchcock's version of the book is very near exact and his recreation of the elusive Rebecca's private bedroom has always fascinated me.  If I had insane wealth I would likely try to recreate the estate known as Manderley with fireplaces big enough to stand in and THIS would be MY room!

Rebecca's bedroom in this movie is the most beautiful I have ever seen. I have coveted it since I saw this movie as a small child.
