2nd of 2 RARE 4 MEDALLION HISTORICAL STAFFORDSHIRE 10" PLATES MADE IN ENGLAND FOR THE AMERICAN MARKET CA. 1825. These are even rarer than the 2 medallion plates.  The best of the best.  Note the picture of the whole set of 4.  We've never seen them all offered together at one time.  In superb original condition. Medium sized platter in medium blue & white Staffordshire  transfer ware ca. 1840. The subject is the bridge over the Themes River between Middlesex & Surry. It is the oldest surviving bridge in the London area. The bridge was built 1774-1777 replacing a ferry crossing in use as far back as 1439.
