People yelled the news from their car windows, posted on Facebook and announced it over rink loudspeakers."

In July 2011, 11-year-old Sydney Marquis learned she had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and required a bone marrow transplant to save her life. Her sister, Alex, was a 100% match.
