Wear Sunscreen has a mix of wit and wisdom. Mary Schmich wrote it for a Chicago Tribune column in June 1997 - think she was inspired by the same muse as Max Ehrmann who wrote Desiderata. Baz Luhrmann adapted it and recorded it  to music in 1999. It went on to become a big radio hit.
