This is an interesting logo design change in all three. The change from 3D designs to 2D is interesting. I would think that in order to get the attention of an audience it would be better to have something more complex and yet still simple, like the 3D designs. However, today it is more common to have designs that have 2D designs instead. This causes the brain to have less to focus on and I assume creates an easier association to the company and logo.
