Dublin Whiskey Company's, this piece is simple and sturdy, the block text reminds me of whisky's flavor, and the contrast against the script, which make the whisky seem fancy. I know I feel fancy when I drink it, so to me this piece just makes sense.
_Elle_ has released a fully embroidered cover for its September issue as part of the magazine’s redesign. Created by Claire Barrett, founder of London-based embroidery company "Hawthorne & Heaney":http://www.londonhandembroidery.com/, the magazine cover is a minimal ivory-white fabric with stitched logo. The artwork is simply a sewn-on patch, similar to a clothing label, stating “Now what?” in embroidered capitalised type alongside the bar code.
Too modern for your purposes, but again, lots of space if given to the text - clarity and simplicity. The colour palette is also minimal but the block colours are really effective at dividing the brochure up.
