Rob Brushia from Sacremento, California sent in a pilot peak strain Cutthroat that he had caught last year at Pyramid Lake, Nevada. It was caught on a size 6 popcorn beetle and measured 31 inches. That is a massive fish Rob, great catch!

Cinco de Mayo brought luck to one of our anglin' viewers! Rob McLeod from Cincinnati caught this brown trout on a white bead head woolly bugger this Monday on a stretch of water that he has been struggling with, the Brookville Tailwaters in Indiana. Great work Rob!

Exciting news: A new record Walleye was caught on a fly at Hawk Lake Lodge in NW Ontario on June 2nd! The fish was 76 cm long (29.9 inches) and was caught by Scott Smith from Oshawa, Ontario using a Sculpin pattern. He was using 10lb test tippet. This walleye is not only a new Ontario Fly Fishing Record (http://ontarioflyfishingrecords.ca/) but is also a IGFA and Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame record.
A second shot from fan Corey Anthony! He describes this sucker on the fly as a blast. Caught in early spring pre spawn czech nymphing with Tungsten hares ear nymphs and pheasant tail nymphs. Using a 6-7 wt suckers are a blast, and great practice for trout and other species! We love it Corey thanks!
