i love the work of artist jennifer collier. jennifer focuses on creating work from recycled paper; by bonding, waxing, trapping and stitching she produces unusual paper ‘fabrics’, which are used to explore the ‘remaking’ of household objects.

Susanna Bauer - This embroidery artist links very well with my leaf project. She creates some amazingly detailed work, with thread that’s carefully stitched into leaves. Bauer uses natural colours that compliment her theme.

These stunning little pieces are the work of Cornwall based artist Susanna Bauer, and yes, I am now planning to spend my weekend looking for leaves, and rocks, and sticks.

i want to be in this point in life. sipping coffee while drawing & painting beautiful work, having a vast space to work on; art supplies aplenty at your reach, looking elegantly natural, all while overlooking something grand. (here it's the ocean). Brita Granström illustrates children's books...another dream. Photographed by Diana Pappas.

I love the light that you get from an attic window and the nook like feel of it, privacy. I could write here and think and create. The lady in the photo is Brita Granström illustrator of children's books. Photographed by Diana Pappas.
