I adopted a cat last week from a shelter in the Netherlands and she's amazing. Luckily it's illegal now in the Netherlands to put down shelter animals, but they still need a forever home. So if you want to get a pet, adopt one!! There are enough animals who need a new home.
Couple Adopt Saddest Cat in the Shelter - In one hour the Transformation is Incredible
It's hard to fathom that even babies are killed in shelters. But the harsh reality is that there are too many homeless pets for any shelter to keep up with. There are just two ways out of a shelter, no matter how young or cute you are; being adopted/rescued or being killed. Don't breed, don't buy your pets from pet stores who support breeding. Save a life and rescue your next pet! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152171191263758&set=a.138507293757.110746.99068383757&type=1
If you don't have a board up for Adoptable Pets--please post one and re-pin adoptable dogs there. You don't have to be a rescue person to rescue, just an animal lover!!! The only way we can save their lives is to get people who are looking for dogs to see them, please give them visibility! They can't shout I'm here, please adopt me--we need to do it for them! Please Start An Adoptable Pets Board!
