Sugar bowl designed by Chris van der Hoef in Photo made for the Dutch webmagazine Serviezendomein.
One of the highlights of Dutch design is the tea set 'Thea'. Edmond Bellefroid created it in 1933 for The Sphinx in Maastricht. See more pictures: http://www.serviezendomein.nl/Hoogtepunten-2.html and if you read dutch there is also a lot of info to enjoy.
If there is something like a typical Dutch line in crockery, we don't know. But clearly these attractive ceramic cups and plates by Lotte Douwes are influenced by Dutch artists like Hella Jongerius and Scholten & Bayings. Brightly coloured glaze combined with bare biscuit. The shapes of the objects are very convincing. Nice to make a combination of plates and cups in different colors.
