I did some screen printing today for textiles and tried printing on different coloured papers . I printed multiples of the same thing so that I can sew onto some . I like the effects and I will develop this process future with different drawings .
I drew the same image but at a different angle, I think this is interesting and presents pattern. I could develop this further in screen printing to create repeated patterns with a mixture of colour and black and white.
I photocopied the back of this piece and interesting curved lines as shown in the foreground of the image. I could develop these pieces by working on top of the photocopied paper.
I continued to look at buildings in Bath and used a biro pen to compare the difference in lines to the fine liner. Looking at sections of buildings is something that I want to continue with and will develop further later in the project. Also buildings in Bath interest me and I will look at the shapes and patterns.
27/11/15. I photocopied my drawings and placed them underneath the plastic . I found that this way was easier to follow as there are many different lines. I then hand sewed over the top with a blue thread as I associated this colour with St Ives landscape .
