Widcombe Manor House, Bath, Somerset. (West side) Built in 1727 for Philip Bennet. Architect possibly Thomas Greenway? Coupled pilasters flank the slightly projecting central portion and angles of South and West fronts. South front has segmentally pedimented porch, supported by Doric colunns. Triangular pediment crowns centre of building. Plinth on moulding becomes coping of balustrade. Hipped Cotswold stone roof.
