Mama Stellato: Simple Baby Blanket Tutorial >and a newspaper is used for a pattern :) >ends up as 30"x40" if her directions are followed >good tutorial with photos for just about every step >super hint about just sewing completely around to keep seams even. Wearable baby blanket. Use instead of loose blankets to keep baby warm while sleeping. Easy 1 day project. 1 yard of fleece or flannel, 22" zipper, 1 snap, & basic sewing supplies. Use a wide-necked well-fitting top as a pattern. Cut wider & curved at the bottom & add several inches to baby's length. Make 2: 1 for use, 1 for wash.
"onesie shorts from an old t shirt. I didn't like the romper, so I made my old t-shirt into a baby one. Just follow this tutorial" until you get to the part that you're supposed to make the legs, cut off the bottom, and hem the ends to make it a tee.
