paper plane--there were these in the classroom when the teacher stepped out! lots of giggles and fun for a few minutes---I have always wondered why the boys never played with these things out in the play yard. Boys will be boys I guess---who knows?
Carved wooden pieces of unknown use. These pieces were likely some sort of ship fittings. There is evidence that a substantial amount of woodworking and carpentry was conducted at L'Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland, Canada during the Viking era.
