PLUMES OF PASSING ( Victorian Mourning Jewelry Swivel Brooch ): Grand in size, glorious in execution, this Victorian revolving (or swivel) brooch is simply stunning. (c. 1850 - 1860) Extremely desirable to collectors, this example of palatte-worked "Prince of Wales" feathers on milk glass is perfection. The seven hair plumes are a light brown in color. When you revolve the central plaque, the reverse side reveals a hand-colored tintype of a very dramatic gentleman.
