Lidbury berated Health Commissioners with their AIDS Control Act report statistics.  Mr Steven Dorrel, Health Minister confirmed £50,000 would be immediately allocated from HIV/AIDS control budget specifically for a Gay Men's Health project in Cornwall. In 1992 Malcolm started the ICT (Independent Cornish Triangle), originally a simple gay information leaflet it became a x20 page monthly newsletter for lesbians & gay men in Cornwall.  By 1995 it reached over 1,000 monthly subscribers.  In 1993 Lidbury was invited to promote the ICT at London PRIDE. #LGBT  http://www.lgbthistorycornwall.blogspot.com

Some just wanted Andy to quietly crawl off and die & not draw attention to either gay or HIV/AIDS issues in Cornwall...the same sort of mentality still encountered years later from 'some' running LGBT groups in Cornwall .  #LGBT  http://www.lgbthistorycornwall.blogspot.com
