Here it is all finished. I added the rest of the grasses leaving the channels visible. This is a great place to bring the canoe, do a bit of fishing or just sit and watch the birds. It is one of my favourite spots.

As you see, I have started adding the grasses in different layers in the foreground. I still have to put some more dark values in there, but it is getting there. Taking my time is a lesson that is finally sinking in as normally I want to finish everything yesterday. I am enjoying the process and watching it grow.

This is stage one of my drawing of a view from Wally Tonkin's Landing. It is the same view I did the plein air painting of last week, only this has a lot more detail. This has a lot of grasses in the foreground so I will use the lessons learnt in the sand dunes drawing I did in my previous blog.

This painting was created digitally. Thanks to my sister, Jo Alexander for her permission to use the photo of this subject taken by her. The reflections in the water is what attracted me to this picture.

Beauty Captured Here for something different. The flower was digitally painted by me and I then took it to Photoshop and added a few more layers and textures. I am happy with the effect.

I thought I would see what would happen if I took the cutesy out of my picture. Mind you some people probably find goats cute.

Well as you can see, this one is taking me a while but I think it will be worth it. I had a breakthrough today as I have been wondering for some time how I was going to get a high enough resolution from my iPad to print onto a big enough canvas. I now have downloaded Perfec
