Old junky end table I found at thrift. Repainted tomato color, rubbing the top and bottom shelf with paint so the true wood grain would show through. Didn't paint the legs to give it a two-tone dimension. Then cut butterflies off large calendar and decoupage finished it off. I sealed with with Polyurethane semi-gloss.

Painted End Table with Decoupage Paper Butterflies on Top and Bottom Shelf

Perfect lil' Princess table and chair set. I loved it because it's real wood! I just found an end table, redid it with purples & pink shades. Then I found two kids chairs at another place and they fit great with it, so I redid those two. On chairs, besides just paint, I did decoupage on back runs with some white lace I had. The new set came out great though! It was much more sturdy than buying some of the new wood, pressed "wood" stuff or aluminum like new ones today.
