An original FRAMED fine art etching using the Solar Plate printmaking method. This etching also uses Chin Collé, a technique where decorative paper is incorporated during the printing process.  Dreamscape 2, this is a state proof mixed media piece. Printed onto high-quality Hahnemuhle 300g white paper using artist quality intaglio ink. Forrest often adds a chine colle (a paper glued to another paper).  Michael has gently placed a rice paper over the inked plate.  He is dusting the paper with powered wheat paste.  Next, the plate and paper will be placed together on the press, under the larger, damp etching paper.  The final effect produces an image printed onto the rice paper (chine colle), glued down by the wheat paste, moisture, and pressure of the press.
