Great classroom desk arrangement - I really like the idea of having some type of storage for each table group. Would need something taller for my graders.

Keep a Binder or Tub ready with all of your sub materials. Items could include emergency fire drill list, dismissal list, phone numbers of important people in the school, how to use the phone, computer log-in, important notes about students. Then all you have to do is add in your sub plans for the specific day you're out. Also, keep emergency sub plans in the back just in case you are unexpectedly out. If you use a tub, you can also place the materials needed for the lesson inside.

Sub Tub -- Possible things to include: A Welcome Binder (explaining the daily schedule, where things are in the room and anything the sub might need like computer log-in codes), emergency lesson ideas, great books, games and other activities to do!

Good way to keep organized in my planning space: put in necessary books and papers for each day of the week.

Organize your copies for the week. When I first saw this, I thought it looked like the Harry Potter font.I think I want to write the days of the week in that font. Either that or paint the set to look like the TARDIS.

Definitely organized! Love the organization idea at each desk. The wire baskets could be cubbies and the red bins could hold extra supplies for each table grouping and each tables supplies they use could be stored in a caddy. I am so doing this for next year!

I love this setting because it is warm and cozy and looks like it has a home-feel to it. I think having that type of feeling in a classroom is important and keeps students relaxed. I especially like the idea of the rocking chair next to the rug.
