The Northern Belle Riverboat casino and Casino Windsor ran simultaneously for a bit. The Northern Belle, docked in the Detroit River in front of the existing casino,  was needed while construction of Casino Windsor was being completed as there was not enough room to house all patrons at the temporary Casino Windsor site (Art Gallery of Windsor) while under construction. Once Casino Windsor was completed, the Northern Belle was shut down.     Opened: 12/1995, Closed: 07/1998
