Photograph taken in 1856, showing Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh. She was the longest lived of George III and Queen Charlotte’s children, dying at the age of 81, and the only one to be photographed.  She is shown here with her niece, Queen Victoria, and two of Victoria’s children, Princess Alice and the future King Edward VII.

Queen Victoria was so annoyed by Princess Alice’s decision to breastfeed her children that she named a cow in one of her dairys after her. Apparently Queen Victoria wasn't keen on children including hers!

Princess Alice Maud Mary (25 April 1843—14 December 1878). The third child and second daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Alice’s main claim to fame is being the mother of Alexandra, the last Czarina of Russia.
