Assigned to Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died in his sleep of a of a non-combat related illness, later diagnosed as an enlarged heart, in Baghdad, Iraq.

Air Force Capt David A. Wisniewski, 31, of Moville, Iowa. Died July 2, 2010, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 66th Rescue Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Died of injuries sustained June 9, 2010, near Forward Operating Base Jackson, Afghanistan, when his HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter was hit by enemy fire and crashed while attempting to evacuate wounded British troops near FOB Jackson, Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
