Elizabeth St Mural, Melbourne 1956. Elizabeth St Mural 1956 Melbourne was all a buzz with Olympic Pride in 1956. Richard Beck was a graphic designer engaged to design the official commemorative Olympic Poster, a stamp, a map and was engaged by CUB (Carlton & United Breweries) to do a mural of the beer glasses toasting. This great mural still survives on the corner of Elizabeth & Flinders St.
