Wildflower Hill by Kimberley Freeman. A good read about a girl who inherits her grandmother's house in Tasmania and discovers her life had been a lot more complex than she thought. I preferred the Australian story but liked it all. I would read another of her books.

Stay Close by Harlan Coben It's a new book (I didn't enjoy the ones written years ago.) Like the story and some characters but I skip through the torture etc.

The Midwife's Daughter by Patricia Ferguson. A story about a young black girl growing up in a town in Cornwall in the early 1900's and there being no one else like her. Characters you care about. You want everything to work out well. Also thought provoking. Good read.
