Pattern: Stockholm Scarf

the gusset for these mits is worked a little differently than you may typically see but it’s so very simple - the garter is what really makes it work… and the yarn is an aran weight. it’s not so heavy that the mits feel overly bulky and it’s just heavy enough that the ends roll only slightly. hello perfection.

A really fast and easy scarf you’ll finish in no time! Especially lovely when knitted with Noro yarns or with any handspun: it is perfect to show the beauty of a textured yarn. Free pattern on Ravelry.

how to actually stitch a fabric back to a knit blanket, though it should have been washed, if not blocked, before the sewing

A mitered square lap blanket with fabric backing by Elaine McCardel. She used an i-cord bind off around the edge and used an overcast stitch to add the flannel fabric to the back.

Chouette by Katy Tricot. Loved knitting this hat and it has a full range of sizes from baby to adult. It is funny how motifs recycle. I knit owls for my son when he was a baby. Craft Ideas,Crafts,DIY baby,I love owls!

This bunny is formed by cleverly sewing up and stuffing a knitted square. Any yarn can be used, simply choose needles that give a pleasing fabric that will hold the stuffing in. The size of the bunny is determined by the size of the knitted square. The example in the pattern uses 8ply wool on 4mm needles and 28 stitches across.
