MY NAME IS ALEXIS, I’M 18 YEARS OLD, I LIVE IN PARIS AND I PRACTICE DIGITAL DOUBLE EXPOSURE. I love art and I draw for many years, and I’ve recently started digital work for a better quality of my work. Usually I spend 3 or 4 hours making one double exposure creation. Fukuoka, Japan-born artist Nobuhiro Nakanishi has created a mesmerizing series called Layered Drawings that we'd love to see in person. Nakanishi uses a laser print to mount his photos onto plexiglass acrylic. Though we could enjoy each slice on its own, taken together, they produce a magnificent effect.

I like an undulating flower bed that is less formal. I grew all the pink impatiens from seed in my basement under lights. My kids laughingly call it my grow op. Saves a lot of money and the plants are further ahead as I could not plant this year until late May. This picture is taken in early August and by late September the beds have been cleaned and are ready for winter and snow.

Use varying heights of planting to bring the eye upward. Nice mix of color, heights, and decor.
