Little House on the Prairie brilliant storylines - BUT a guilty pleasure - so uncool to admit you watched it !! Glad mum was a big fan as could claim as only one tv at home was 'forced ' to endure programme but guilty secret was I loved every episode - so well acted and well written quality storylines that sadly are no longer provided as makers work to 'demographics ' and surveys suggest that special effects are far more important to provide entertainment , well storylines DO matter hugely…

Autumn, The Sugar Loaf Mountain, Wales #Wales #Autumn

Lovely shot of Sugar Loaf in Autumn. The gorgeous Brecon Beacons in Wales.

When I was growing up (that's me on the far left), our family would often work late into the evening during peach season on our farm. We'd complain of itchy arms from packing peaches, and then we'd scream at the sight of any bug. It was hot, we were dusty & dirty (clearly!), BUT. My dad always promised us a trip to @baskinrobbins when we were done working. We'd sit on the tailgate of his old truck, enjoy our ice cream, and feel good about a hard day's work. My mom & dad would always tell us…

These are some of our favourite inspirational funeral poems and blessings from Ireland and around the world. They may be sad and moving, but they are also life-affirming and uplifting at the same time.

Irish funerals are famous for being full of tears, laughter and songs. Here are some of the best Irish funeral blessings.

I didn't have a CB radio but my friends brother did, I suppose it was a bit like an early vocal version of FB where you talked to people you didn't actually 'know' in your day to day life ;-)

CB Radios--Breaker breaker anyone got their ears on? I had one! Just call me Tiger Lady!

Love this front porch and wooden screen doors. I miss the sound of our family farm house screen door banging shut! And mom yelling not to slam the door!

Screen doors and porches. I love the memories of hearing the screen door slam at my Grandma Flanary's when I was a little girl. Miss that sound

The Pickering barn in Issaquah, Washington....Hard to believe that my dad has memories of growing up when it was just the family farm....And it's restored now, open for venues, or the farmers market during the summer....
