The 125th Anniversary exhibit at the Wyoming State Museum expands this week with artifacts from the first decade of the 20th century. The 1900s were turbulent times in Wyoming. The highlight of this week is the Winchester rifle used by Herbert Brink in the Spring Creek Raid. The raid resulted in the deaths of three sheepherders, and Brink was convicted of first degree murder for his role. It was the first time state authorities prosecuted anyone for participating in range wars.
