Someone recommended a book to me this weekend that I can't put down. It is said to be life altering although before then I had only heard great (and mostly negative) controversial discussions concerning it. Already it is very powerful although I have yet to make a judgement on its contents. I will say that it has made me think intensely about the big questions I'm facing in life. And it made me want to get dressed up to go out for a drink and read it. Yes I'm the nerd at the bar by herself…

The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment. My #1 book of all time. Better than A New Earth that followed this one, in my opinion. This book should be HEARD (on audio)....its very powerful.

Magic Burns: Kate Daniels, Book 2 | Ilona Andrews. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Magical flares could mean deadly consequences for Kate and those she loves. One thing is for certain, they all face life-altering events in this roller-coaster ride of a story.
