Dad sold the old 38 Packard and bought his first truck. It was a new 1962 3/4 ton flat bed Ford. It was two tone, Ford green with white hood. Straight 6 with no frills. My older brothers put a used radio in it for a little entertainment during it's working years. Cattle rails were put on it and was a good thing. In 1971, I drove over a 80 foot cliff and those rails broke the fall. Lucky for me and my friend who had gone fishing. But until then, it was great truck that lasted it's 9 years.
