A visit to Elma Scotts (Derek Scott's mum) at Crainlarich. 5/4/2013 ~ Don Shanks, Tom MacDonald, Elma Scott & Nina Shanks. Derek Scott was a member of the RAF Mountain Rescue Service who sadly lost his life - his mum Elma entertained & looked after RAF Mountain Teams during his time and continued to do so after and is the MR Service's adopted God-mother and celebrity.

The Drovers Inn, Loch Lomond; a pub of great character visited frequently for refreshments over the years.  Also Eagles Fall can be seen on the hillside above which in winter can, in freezing conditions offer a delightful little ice-climb.

The current business premises are now up for sale at 10/12/2016 ~ sad but it done well I suppose ~ I worked in Fisher's laundry (1968) as a youth whilst awaiting joining the Royal Air Force.
