Restoring Jane Austen's Legacy - Arts and Humanities Research Council. The original handwritten manuscripts of Jane Austen’s fiction have long been scattered in libraries and public collections around the UK and in New York. But an AHRC-funded project to digitise the documents allowed them to be viewed as a unified collection for the first time in more than 160 years.
