Buttered sprouts with chestnuts & bacon - quartered the recipe for xmas lunch. Shredded the sprouts (the kids prefer them that way). Nice but I think it could have done with some garlic and a higher proportion of bacon and nuts

The 2012 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is December 6, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are required for the lighting ceremony. They were distributed through a lottery system. The lighting ceremony will air on PBS television stations across the country. You may visit the National Christmas Tree through January 1 and enjoy nightly musical performances. I watched The National Lampoons with Daisy then shared some prosecco with my eldest @millie_amber before her night out( I can vaguely remember when Christmas Eve was a big night out!)! ☺️ I am now relaxing!
