High beam light switch in the floor board

High Beam floor switch you pushed with your foot to switch from low to high beam lights while driving. Then when you were in a car with the switch on the steering wheel, you'd be stomping the floor like crazy!

Schaeffer Cartridge Pen

Cartridge ink pen-used all the way through college and beyond. Had an ink stain on my right middle finger. I still prefer to write with real ink and a good pen nib!

My Grandma always kept these in the freezer for when I came down to her house.

Ice cream cup with wooden "spoon." The Dixie Cups we got in school were half-vanilla/half-chocolate ice cream.

Ha! Remember this?!

Coty Wild Musk Oil, loved this stuff in high school!

Cap Gun

I'm pretty sure you can't buy anything even close to a realistic toy gun anymore. We played Cops and Robbers and Cowboys and Indians in the woods and didn't grow up to be bad people. Love the smell of those spent caps!

Cried every time Mom played this on guitar and we sang along.

My Dad used to sing this song to me at bedtime. I miss you dad. ~~Puff the Magic Dragon -- Peter, Paul and Mary

how many remember this

prehistoric googling ~ a time when everybody new the Dewey Decimal system.or use a Librarian to find a book!

I loved it when Mom let me stick papers together with this glue!!

Remember this glue in elementary school? So messy.I preferred the Elmer's White Paste with the little brush in the top of the lid
